Silk Road Dance Company is honored to have People's Artist of Uzbekistan, Qizlarhon Dusmuhamedova, as our mentor in Central Asian dance. Each year, she has a month long residency with the ensemble and passes on a legacy of rare dances.

Guest Artist, Ahmad Maaty
GUEST ARTIST
Egyptian-American dancer Ahmad Maaty is a graduate of George Mason University. He has been a popular guest artist in many Silk Road Dance Company concerts, include the 2009 Kennedy Center Raqiset Shaabia performance and the ''Hooray for Bollywood'' show.

Guest Dance Artists and Collaborators
Since the inception of the Silk Road Dance Company in 1995, the ensemble has been honored to work with established dance artists and musicians. Some have set traditional dance choreographies on SRDC while other have created new pieces or offered technique classes. Still others have collaborated with Silk Road Dance Company on concert works.
