University and College Concerts

Special dance concerts augment academic courses and study areas for many universities and colleges. Silk Road Dance Company has share the historic dance traditions of the Middle East, Central Asia, and the Caucasus with many university and college communities.

Silk Road Dance Company presented our ancient Egyptian concert ''Egypta: Myth, Magic and Mystery'' at James Madison University.

''Raqiset Shaabia: Folkloric Dance of the Arab World'' was the theme of Silk Road Dance Company's program at Salisbury University.

At Shepherd College, the ensemble presented
''Dances of the Islamic World.''

Since 1995, Silk Road Dance Company has also presented rpgrams at George Washington University, National Defense University, Georgetown University, Randolph-Macon College, Notre Dame College of Baltimore, Mount St. Mary's College, Community College of Baltimore, University of Maryland, Essex Community College, Howard Community College, and Northern Virginia Community College.
